Note To Self

Dear Me,

The next time your husband does something, shall we say annoying, remember how much you love him. Remember what a great daddy he is. Remember how you were out late tonight, so he washed Grace's hair -and brushed it too. How he made sure the kids had dinner and were tucked in sweetly. Remember how he has all the stresses of work and family on his shoulders, but still makes you laugh all of the time. Remember the way Colt watches out the door in anticipation for him to come home after work. Remember how lucky you are that he does come home after work. And never forget how much he loves you.

Spring 2010 Family Pictures

This past weekend we headed out to take family pictures. This is something I love to do. It seems we always have such a good time just being together and it's great to capture some of those memories. Luckily for me, my sister is an amazing photographer! I took photography in college, but I am no where as good as she is. You know you have an awesome photographer when they can capture an almost two year old hyper active little boy. :) So, thank you so much Ashley!!! At the top I have added a slide show of some of the black and whites. Here, however, are some of the pictures in color. It may seem repetitive, but after the slide show is removed I still want to have these pictures be a part of the blog.

Easter

This past Easter weekend was a little rocky for us. Unfortunately, the flue bug came along with the Easter bunny. Thankfully the kids were still able to color Easter eggs with their daddy in between sickness. The kids and I were also able to go to church Sunday morning, although Ben was home in bed. After church I took the kids to Ben's mom's. Where we would have had birthday cake for him, had he been able to be there. It all turned out okay though, we still were able to have a great time together and the true meaning of Easter shown through it all.
